  7. The accompanying files contain a driver for HP plotters and printers from 
  8. AutoCAD Release 12.  It uses the HP-GL/2 and HP RTL graphics languages.

  22. o  Any other HP device using HP-GL/2

  25. To Install and Configure the Driver
  26. -----------------------------------

  28. o  If you received this driver on a disk with your plotter, then use the 
  29.    Step-by-Step Guide supplied.

  31. o  Otherwise:
  32.  
  33.    1.  At the DOS prompt for the drive containing the driver disk, enter 
  34.        INSTALL.  For example, at the prompt A:>, enter: 
  35.        
  36.          INSTALL <enter>
  37.  
  38.    2.  Answer the on-screen questions.  If in doubt, accept the defaults.
  39.  
  40.    3.  When you reach the end of the INSTALL routine, you can use a new 
  41.        file it has created for more instructions.  The file is called
  42.        HP_R12.DOC and contains the same information as in the Step-by-Step 
  43.        Guide.  It is a simple ASCII text file and is rather long.
  44.  
  45.        (The rest of these instructions assume that you have just finished 
  46.        INSTALL, during which you accepted all the default pathnames, and are
  47.        therefore in the directory C:\ACAD\DRV\HPGL2.)

  49.        *  To read HP_R12.DOC on screen, enter:
  50.  
  51.             TYPE HP_R12.DOC|MORE
  52.  
  53.           To quit the display of HP_R12.DOC, press Ctrl-C.
  54.  
  55.        *  To print HP_R12.DOC, enter:    
  56.        
  57.             PRINT HP_R12.DOC
  58.  
  59.           This will work if you have a printer directly connected to your PC.
